Dallas County voters may cast their ballots at any Vote Center within the county on Tuesday, November 3. This flexibility applies to the General and Joint Election scheduled for that day. The Dallas County Elections Department issued the guidance to help residents plan their voting logistics.
Election Administrator Paul Adams stated that voters have the option to select the most convenient location for their needs. "Election Day is the final opportunity for Dallas County voters to make their voices heard in the November 3 election," Adams said. He noted that the department wants voters to arrive prepared and ready to vote.
The department advises voters to check their registration status before heading to the polls. Residents should ensure their residence information is current. Specific attention is required for those with a "Suspense" status. A voter with this designation who still lives in Dallas County remains registered and eligible to vote.
Voters with a Suspense status must complete a Statement of Residence at the Vote Center. This form confirms or updates their address. They can then proceed to vote if they meet other eligibility requirements. The department encourages this step to avoid delays at the polling place.
Dallas County Elections directed residents to visit DallasCountyVotes.org for details. The website lists current Vote Center locations and operating hours. It also provides tools for checking voter registration status. Officials recommend reviewing this information before leaving for the polls.
This Election Day serves as a final chance for residents who did not vote during the Early Voting period. The county encourages all eligible voters to make a plan. Choosing a convenient Vote Center and being prepared are key steps for the November 3 election.
