Seven Dallas County businesses now serve smoothies that compete directly with the $21 Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie popularized by Hailey Bieber at Erewhon. While Erewhon confirmed it would ship products to Texas customers last year, local competitors offer similar ingredients without the California price tag.

The interest in these high-end beverages spiked after a confusing social media post from Erewhon in 2025 suggested a physical store opening in Dallas. The post clarified that the announcement was for a delivery service, not a new location. The Los Angeles-based grocer operates 14 stores, mostly in Los Angeles County, and its West Hollywood location remains a pilgrimage site for fans of its celebrity collaborations.

CNTRD Juice at 2424 Victory Park Lane in Dallas serves 24-ounce smoothies with zero refined sugars. Founded by former NFL player Valerian Ume-Ezeoke and his wife Veronica, the shop uses ingredients from Black farmers. Their Flourish smoothie has attracted attention from life coach Mel Robbins. Beaming, located inside Club Studio fitness clubs in Coppell and Richardson, serves the public and offers a Strawberry Shortcake smoothie with 20 grams of protein.

Grain & Berry has operated four locations since 2017, with its newest store at The Marketplace at Highland Village. The GEM, opened 14 years ago by Mary Kathryn Bass and Leslie Needleman, serves made-to-order juices and smoothies at three locations. The GEM's Gold Standard smoothie includes protein, creatine, collagen, and miracle mushroom powder.

VIDA Bowls at 10325 Garland Road is a drive-thru shop founded by Elijah Ruiz in memory of his father. The menu features four smoothie options, including the VIDA Glow with sea moss gel and collagen. JuiceLand, which has 10 locations in the DFW area, focuses on plant-based items. Their Green Creamsicle smoothie uses housemade almond milk and gets its color from spinach, orange, mango, and banana.

Bondi Bowls operates two local locations, inspired by founder Bailey Wilson's time in Bondi Beach, Australia. The shop serves 11 smoothies, including the Great Barrier Reef, which blends coconut, spirulina, banana, pineapple, and apple juice. These local options provide accessible alternatives to the premium pricing structure of the national brand.
