Truluck’s to Relocate to One Uptown in Early 2027
The seafood restaurant will move from its current Uptown location to a new address on McKinney Avenue.

Uptown, Dallas County. Truluck’s Ocean’s Finest Seafood & Crab announced on Wednesday that it will close its current location at 2401 McKinney Avenue and move to One Uptown at 2619 McKinney Avenue. The new opening is scheduled for early 2027.
The restaurant has served the neighborhood since July 1998. Chris Davis, Operating Partner of Truluck’s Dallas, stated in a press release that the company looks forward to continuing its tradition of hospitality in the new space. Davis noted that the move allows the establishment to maintain its focus on high-quality seafood and live music.
The One Uptown location will feature an expansive central bar that hosts happy hours. A grand piano will be situated near the bar to support live music performances. The dining room design includes curved booths, greenery, and sculptural lighting intended to create intimate seating areas.
Executive Chef Manny Vera, a member of the team since 1998, will lead the culinary operation. The menu will retain signature items such as seasonal Florida stone crab and hand-cut steaks. It will also continue to offer fresh seafood selections including Miso-Glazed Sea Bass and South African Lobster Tails.
Truluck’s will remain open at 2401 McKinney Avenue throughout the holiday season. The press release invited guests to visit the current location to celebrate the restaurant’s history before the relocation takes place.
