McDonald's will bring back its Pokémon Happy Meal promotion nationwide on November 10. The limited-time offer coincides with the 30th anniversary of the Japanese franchise. The deal includes specific themed packaging and collectible items for customers at participating locations across the country.

The promotion features three distinct Happy Meal boxes designed to resemble Pikachu, Umbreon, and Torchic. Each box contains one of 15 total collectible toys. These toys are shaped like small Happy Meal boxes styled after various characters. The lineup includes Fuecoco, Sprigatito, Quaxly, Eevee, Umbreon, and Bulbasaur. Customers will also receive two Pokémon Trading Card Game cards with every collectible toy. There are 15 unique cards in the set, including seven foil versions.

McDonald's announced the return of the promotion on Instagram on October 29. The post detailed the contents of the meals. It noted that the offer includes three boxes, 15 toys, and two cards with every collectible. The company confirmed the start date as November 10, 2026. The items are available for a limited time while supplies last at participating restaurants.

This is not the first time the two brands have partnered. McDonald's and The Pokémon Company have collaborated on promotions over the decades. Last year's iteration included Pokémon Trading Card Game cards, a poster, and a sticker sheet. The current promotion focuses on the toy and card collection without the poster or stickers.

Social media users reacted to the announcement on Instagram. One user wrote, “I’m loving it,” accompanied by emojis of fries and a burger. Another user said, “AWWWWWW YEEUH. About to eat an absurd amount of happy meals.” The response indicated strong anticipation among fans for the new collectibles.

The new Pokémon Happy Meals will be distributed at participating McDonald's locations. Customers can select from the three box designs featuring the primary characters. The toys and cards are intended for collection. The promotion runs until the stock runs out.
