Laura Bozzo has been moved out of the intensive care unit, according to her eldest daughter Victoria de la Fuente.

Speaking on the Peruvian program Amor y Fuego on Friday, October 30, De la Fuente stated that her mother was transferred to a regular room. She described the situation as controlled, noting that Bozzo is in the process of recovering.

The presenter underwent emergency surgery more than two weeks ago after suffering a ruptured gastric ulcer. Reports of her death circulated on social media on October 27. Journalist Carlo Uriel clarified the status on X, citing a confirmation from Bozzo's daughter Alejandra de la Fuente that her mother remained in a very delicate state.

Victoria de la Fuente provided more specific updates on the recovery. She said Bozzo is no longer intubated, a change that occurred over a week ago. The medical team has not set a specific discharge date. De la Fuente explained that doctors prefer to monitor the day-to-day progress rather than provide a fixed timeline due to the rapid improvement observed recently.

De la Fuente described signs of Bozzo's return to normalcy. She recounted an incident where her mother complained of being bored and shouted at the nursing staff. De la Fuente viewed this behavior as a positive indicator, stating that it is a luxury for Bozzo to be bored and complaining after nearly dying.

The presenter is currently speaking well and appears much better, according to her daughter. De la Fuente said Bozzo is already interacting with the medical team, shouting at the nurses, which signals a strong recovery.
