Miranda Lambert will perform live at AT&T Stadium on Nov. 26 during the Dallas Cowboys game against the Philadelphia Eagles. The team and the Salvation Army announced the booking on Sunday. The performance is part of the annual Red Kettle Kickoff Halftime Show.
The game starts at 3:30 p.m. Central and will air on Fox. Lambert’s appearance comes seven weeks after she released her 10th studio album, Crisco. The record features guest vocals from Chris Stapleton and Ella Langley. Lambert co-wrote and co-produced Langley’s single “Choosin’ Texas.”
Lambert is a native of Lindale, a small town in the Texas Panhandle. She is a Grammy winner who has long ties to the state. The Cowboys have used their Thanksgiving halftime slot for musical performances for over 25 years. Reba McEntire started the tradition in 1997.
Other artists have taken the stage during this holiday slot in recent years. Post Malone performed in 2025. The Jonas Brothers appeared in 2022. Selena Gomez headlined in 2013. Kenny Chesney played in 2012. Kelly Clarkson performed in 2007. Destiny’s Child was on the bill in 2004.
Charlotte Jones, executive vice president and chief brand officer for the Dallas Cowboys, said the organization is grateful to Lambert for joining the lineup. “For 30 years, incredible artists have appeared on our halftime stage to help The Salvation Army bring hope to millions of people in need,” Jones said. “We’re grateful to Miranda Lambert for joining that legacy and helping us continue this meaningful tradition.”
Lambert said in a statement that she looks forward to being back home in Texas. “There’s something special about how music brings people together, especially when it’s to spread joy and hope to families who need it most,” Lambert said. “The Salvation Army and the Dallas Cowboys have built an incredible tradition with the Red Kettle Kickoff, and I can’t wait to be back home in Texas this Thanksgiving to help carry it forward.”
The Salvation Army collects donations through its red kettle program during the event. The funds support local families in need. Lambert will be the headline act for the 2026 holiday game. The Cowboys face the Eagles in the regular season matchup.
