Exatlón USA Returns to Telemundo for Season 11 in December

The eleventh season of Exatlón Estados Unidos will premiere on Telemundo at 7 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday, December 8. The network has branded this new cycle as Arena Extrema. The show is the longest running sports competition in the Spanish language television market in the United States.

Javier Pons, Chief Content Officer and Head of Telemundo Studios, stated that the eleventh season represents an extraordinary milestone for the franchise. He noted that the series has captured the attention of generations of viewers. Pons said the Arena Extrema concept raises the intensity of the competition by gathering exceptional athletes in a season that tests strength and determination.

Frederik Oldenburg will return to host the show for his eighth season. He is described as an emblematic figure of the franchise. Oldenburg has also worked as a presenter for Hoy Día and covered the FIFA World Cup 2026. He served as an invited host for Love Island USA from Fiji.

The new season will feature 20 athletes, split evenly between the Red Team and the Blue Team. The cast will include Olympic medalists, professional athletes, and international sports champions. Telemundo has not yet released the names of the competitors, though it plans to reveal them soon. The teams will compete in legendary arenas with circuits designed to require speed, strength, precision, and endurance.

The production is a joint effort between AcunMedya and Telemundo. Adrián Santucho, Senior Vice President of Unscripted Content, and Pancho Calvo, Vice President of Unscripted Content, supervise the project. Luciano Cardinali serves as executive producer and Fernando Celis as general producer for the competition.
