The Prosper High School Eagles have scored more than 40 points in nearly every game this season. This production continues despite the graduation of 17 starters from the previous squad.

Head coach Tyler Moore stated that the team has maintained its standards while new players stepped into leadership roles. He noted that the current senior class had to wait for their turn to play due to the success of the groups before them. Moore expressed pride in how individual players and the group as a whole have handled the transition.

Quarterback Tyler Albert said the offense remains high-scoring and high-level, consistent with previous years at Prosper. Albert emphasized that the departure of veteran players did not change the team's expectations. He added that the current roster holds all players to the same standard established by past squads.

The 2025 season concluded with a loss to Southlake Carroll in the Regional Semifinal. That game ended well after 1:30 a.m. due to a lengthy weather delay. Inside linebacker Andryk Corona described the situation as a robbery. He said the team entered the current year with a goal of getting revenge and advancing farther in the playoffs.

Prosper High School was once the only high school in the town. A population boom over the last five years has resulted in additional schools. The Eagles continue to refer to themselves as the flagship program in the area, a nickname they call The Ship. Corona stated that the team leads the district and the PISD schools.

Coach Moore said the program has moved beyond simply winning as the sole goal. He focuses on whether the team is doing things the right way in all aspects of life and carrying that over to the field. Moore mentioned that the team was not satisfied with a 40-point win if they did not play their best football. He believes this approach helps the team battle complacency.

Albert said the players hold themselves accountable to be the best in sports, classrooms, and hallways. He noted that the team treats people with respect on and off the field. The group aims to honor their status as the flagship of Prosper High School.
