Miss Universe fans cast 165,000 votes

Miss Universe Organization asked global fans to vote for their favorite social impact project this week. The initiative, called Beyond the Crown, highlights the charitable causes supported by the pageant candidates.

More than 91 countries have submitted videos detailing their community efforts. The voting pool has generated over 165,000 votes since the process began. Candidates focus on education, health, environmental protection, equality, and community development.

The organization stated that the program reflects its belief that beauty extends beyond appearance. MUO argues that influence carries a responsibility to serve others. The initiative allows delegates to share their stories and invite public support for specific causes.

Beyond the Crown aligns with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations. Delegates aim to create awareness and build alliances. They turn their ideas into concrete actions through community participation and partnerships with nonprofit groups. Some also run fundraising initiatives to support their work.

The 75th Miss Universe pageant will take place at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot. The competition schedule includes the National Costume competition on November 21. The Preliminary competition is set for November 22. The Grand Final will occur on November 24.

Telemundo will broadcast the final night. Jacky Bracamontes and Carlos Adyan will host the event. Fans can watch the contestant videos and cast their votes through the official Miss Universe app or the organization's online page.

The public can also continue voting in the People’s Choice category. This vote helps determine which candidates secure a spot in the semifinalist lineup of the top 30.
