Post Malone released a single audio clip on social media this week, marking the first public look at his upcoming album, 'The Eternal Buzz.' The recording, tagged with the hashtag 'badmood,' serves as a pre-pre-release for the project, which is scheduled for sometime in 2027.

The new material was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee. It follows the artist's 2024 country debut, 'F-1 Trillion.' Malone has disclosed 15 track titles for the new record but has not yet announced any guest features.

The artist hails from Grapevine, Texas, and the new single has drawn immediate comparisons to his earlier work. Billboard characterized the sound as similar to his Grammy-nominated 2018 album, 'beerbongs & bentleys.' The clip offers a distinct shift from the country style of his most recent full-length project.

Malone began his career in 2016 with the release of 'Stoney,' an album that established his presence in the hip-hop and R&B scenes. That record featured the tracks 'White Iverson' and 'Congratulations.' He continued his momentum with 'August 26' later that same year. Both projects were produced by the 21-year-old artist and gained traction through SoundCloud before moving to major streaming platforms.

His commercial peak arrived with 'beerbongs & bentleys' in 2018. The album produced hit singles including 'Rockstar,' 'Psycho,' and 'Better Now.' It earned nominations from the Recording Academy and solidified his status as a global pop star. In 2019, he released 'Hollywood's Bleeding,' which included collaborations with Halsey, Meek Mill, and Ozzy Osbourne.

In 2022, Malone shifted his musical focus with 'Twelve Carat Toothache.' That album reflected themes of isolation and fame, moving away from the party-centric lyrics of his earlier work. He followed that with 'AUSTIN' in 2023, a record that explored his personal life and the birth of his daughter.

His most recent album, 'F-1 Trillion,' marked a complete genre change to country music. The 2024 record featured 27 tracks, with 15 of them including guest artists. Collaborators on that project included Luke Combs, Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw, Chris Stapleton, Hank Williams Jr., Dolly Parton, and Billy Strings.

The new single for 'The Eternal Buzz' arrives as Malone continues to rotate between pop and country styles. The track list for the upcoming album remains the primary focus for fans awaiting the full release in 2027.
