Arantza, the eldest daughter of actor Pablo Lyle and Ana Araujo, turned 16 on October 27.
Araujo marked the occasion by sharing photos and messages on her Instagram account. She wrote to her daughter, "Mi amor, sigue cuestionándolo todo, defendiendo tu corazón intenso, que el mundo no te domestique, Arantza."
The social media influencer added another message to a selfie of the two: "Sweet sixteen, mi amor. Te amo, Arantza." She also posted an old snapshot showing Arantza with her younger brother, Mauro, who is 12 years old.
Lyle adopted and raised Arantza after he and Araujo married on December 28, 2014. This birthday is the last one the teenager will celebrate while her father remains in custody.
The actor is serving a sentence for involuntary manslaughter in the 2019 death of Juan Ricardo Hernández. Hernández died after a traffic altercation with Lyle in Miami.
In February 2023, a court sentenced Lyle to five years in prison. The sentence also included eight years of probation and 100 hours of community service.
Journalist Tanya Charry stated on the show El Gordo y La Flaca in late August that Lyle will be released at 12:00 a.m. on December 29. Araujo discussed the children's experience in an interview in mid-October. She noted that her children have lived with this situation for nearly eight years. "Crecieron con eso," she said, adding that the children have communication with their father and have adjusted to the circumstances.
